The company employs nearly 1,000 people worldwide and belongs to an international group with more than 10.000 employees. Its production facilities are located in Europe. Your Responsibilities
As the General Manager of a four-member team in Manila, you are responsible for leading and managing the team, as well as overseeing sales activities in the Asia-Pacific region (Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore).
- development and expansion of the sales territory
- acquisition of new customers and identification of clients in the region
- leadership and oversight of all sales activities, including proposal tracking, contract negotiation, order processing and reporting
- continuous market and competition monitoring
- preparation/attendance at trade events and creation of presentations
Your Profile
- technical studies, e.g., industrial engineering or equivalent
- several years of professional experience in sales/special-purpose machine
- knowledge in establishing and managing sales structures
- market and industry knowledge in the food industry
- active network, a strong presence in the market, international experience
- strong communication skills, strategic thinking
- very good English language skills, written and spoken
- residence in Manila or readiness for an assignment to Manila
